Hello, around a month ago I posted a thread on what you guys thought had been done to my evo. You guys pointed out that the car had been running meth. Its and 03 with 54k miles; I ran the vin number and the last owner had the car till 77k miles. I was really pissed i did not do this before buying the car. I just did a compression test and I got 125, 75, 125, 125 are these results ok? also i need new breaks and my clutch is begining to slip. To sum it all up I dont know weather to keep my evo or just move on. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated thank you.

I did, and it ran perfect; still does.

 

That compression test is fubar. I bet it will run better when it's fixed. Depending on the condition of the car, it may be worth it to just fix it. Hell, buy a built motor. I know it isn't cheap but if you get one from a reputable builder it would be really worth it in my opinion.

 

Did you at least get it pretty cheap?

Sue him, get rid of the car, use $ to get a IX.
