Think I might be getting too picky HELP!!!

Ok guys I am currently driving a 05 Evo VIII and its about to reach 37k miles. I have a few bolt ons and a nice tune and I think im making around 300-310awhp

When I bought the car it had a few dings and dents so I had the entire car painted and the body lines straightened back out to where they are perfect and every single ding and dent removed..The car looks great and runs great and I wanna do some serious modding but I sometimes find myself wanting to get rid of it only to get another one with a lot less mileage...is this just being wayy to picky and something I need to just get over and start modding and enjoying the car?

Any input/advice would be appreciated guys/gals

Believe it or not, I've been the same way and I don't even own an Evo yet.

LOL, I started off wanting a 03 VIII with around 60k miles; Then I wanted a 04-05 VIII with no more than 40k; Now I want a IX SE with no more than 30k.

I honestly think it's the forum that does this to you. You constantly see people with newer cars/mods coming through. I say you should start enjoying the car.

PS Post pics!

just get an old worn out evo 8 for 15-20k, then put 15-20k into the engine, turbo, drivetrain, and suspension. you will have a newly built stroker motor so no worries there. just take it to a good tuner.

WTF, 150k on my subie, been to hell and back and still runs like a mule... Probably doesn't help that I never wash it, its a purpose car, not a bling queen.

If I wanted a bling queen, I'd buy a BMW.

You have an EVO, drive it like its meant to be driven!

Look at it this way, our 4wd pocket rockets are purpose built cars, they are MEANT to be driven hard and fast. An EVO/Subie is like an AK-47... Fires every time you pull the trigger, devastating power, but nothing you don't need.

A BMW, Mercedes Benz, etc is like a finely tuned 1911 pistol... Lots of bling, power, but not so practical or reliable, not to mention expensive.

I say keep it...that isnt a lot of miles and if you have already put that much into the paint and body, then why go look for something that might not be as good! I hope the modding bugs attack you in your sleep!

That is great mileage, no need to be that picky.

Yeah that might be a little picky...if you buy a car with lower mileage, you'll just get the same itch again when that one gets around ~37k...then you'll just keep cycling through cars over and over again.
