i got my fs635 turbo kit on my question invovles my waste gate. i had a friend said that i need 2 nipples on the waste gate. one on the flat head and then one on the side.

seems i only have the one on the side ran to my boost controller and then the other line from the boost controller ran to the turbo. does there need to be 2 vaccum lines ran from the waste gate ? it only came with one nipple from buschur on the side. is this normal?

if i do need 2 where the heck does the 2nd one go?

 

All it need is one. don't know what your friend is talking about. Maybe he is talking about 2 wastegate on a turbo, but you don't really need that. 1 44mm wastegate should be enough.

 

A Tail 44mm WG has a top port and a side port. The side port goes to your MBC. The top port you leave open

thats what i thought but he uses both on his sti we had a long argument bout it i just wanted to make sure i was right.

 

With a manual boost controller you use the side port on the wastegate. If you have an electronic boost controller then you use both the side and top ports on the wastegate.
