Yip.I've got a stock turbo,so aftermarket ic won't help me much...too much lag.

I've got a stock turbo with aftermarket ic, bought it from STM used but in new condition wanted a thicker one, but figured it would be better than my stock is with no straight fins on it. Absolutely no difference in lag and more consistent when logging pulls.

Interesting...nowadays i honestly don't know who to believe and listen to.Each person has his own opinion. But if you tested it i'm sure it's true.

In my opinion i think you can't have too big an intercooler because the air will take longer to cool before it goes to the intake. That's what my brain tells me anyways.

Ordered a mini battery replacement so I can actually start and drive the car when it's quasi-warm out.

I assume u meant to say that u think u "can" have too big of intercooler. I understand your thinking, but the difference in volume of the intercooler is not enough to make a difference in the feel. I mean I wouldn't buy a 5 inch ic for a stock turbo, but if u ever plan on going bigger I'd go at lease a 3.5-4 inch. I asked my tuner what he thought and his text was "the bigger the better" lol. If u can find a dirt cheap stock one by all means just do that, but if u can find a good deal on a quality used one, theres no point in wasting time with stock unless u plan on selling IMO.
