Just got a X yesterday and debadged the trunk leaving behind the Mitsubishi emblem and "Evolution." Also, plasti dipped the emblems and plasti dipped the hood vents because there was a rock chip in one.
said goodbye to the Evo and hello to my not so new Jeep SRT8. hate to see her go but gotta have a way to move my bikes so I figured awd is still the way to go. Evo is going to my brother so it is still in the family!
New spark plugs and painted my headlights so they look JDM now
. They look beautiful and just gotta pull the one side and give it a better seal
. And got my brakes done under warranty from Les Scwhab. Gotta love that 3 yr 25K mile warranty. Used it twice already in just under a year haha.

Nah, I was just able to take most of the afternoon off for those two days to finalize transfer of the parts car. Everything else is done after-hours. I'm a night owl.
Friday:
Installed the Koyo radiator and Blitz Dump Valve. The dump valve makes the car stall unless I blip the throttle so I'm already thinking of removing it.
Saturday:
Took transmission and front diff off of my spare engine. Discovered an Ogura Racing clutch but the flywheel was full of microfissures. Traded my stock radiator to a guy in exchange for a set of OZ Racing F-1 wheels. Bought new tires for them and had them mounted on the car, then sold my OZ Racing Superleggeras to a guy who's been waiting for them for months. This all took 11 hours (0815-1730).
Today:
Checked my spark plugs.
