Over the weekend I installed Buschur diff mounts and the Buschur mustache bar. Also re-stacked the diff plates.

 

Installed some new BPR7ES plugs. Need more digging to find what else is causing my tephra mod to flash the check engine light on acceleration.

 

Have you actually determined whether it is false knock or true knock?

 

Check engine light flashing, massive hesitation in 4th and 5th getting up a hill at as little as 5 to 10 psi of boost. I believed it to be a spark issue. That's gone now, but still happens on a freeway onramp I take at 45 mph, that pretty much goes in a circle.

 

Could be fuel related. Maybe the pump?

 

Finally replaced by busted *** FMIC that I smashed into the tow hook :/

sending block off to check to make sure it is all within tolerence, looks like i either spun a bearing or connecting rod failure. Hopefully put back together by the middle of next month im hoping.

 

Could be. Been meaning to install the walbro 255 my friend bought me for Christmas. Good excuse to install it then.

Back to topic. Spent the $25 on evoscan last night.

 

Replaced my front rotors and pads as well as installed my front coilovers. I'll finish the back half another day when it's 50 degrees out or so.

 

Changed the oil and filter. Prepared the car for spring break trip to cali for a cruise. While driving, the wife smashed through a huge tumble weed! It was the tumble weed or a serious accident at 80mpg. Bye tumble weed!

 

Worked on tuning the pump gas map this week. Also went to the track and ran an 11.34 at 80mph. Had to get HARD on the brakes to not get kicked out. lol

 

5 hours of wash, wax and head/tail light buffing

 

Went to work.
