what are these panels I keep seeing on the rear of Evos here lately? Looks like a faux widebody kit. How much wider do they allow you to run tire wise?
They look cool.

They are Voltex Widebody rear fenders- see my thread on install here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...18-bfg-r1.html

I run 18x10.5 +15 RPF1 with 285/30/18 BFG R1. So quite a bit wider.

Picked up a set of stock white Boot and Bonnet... Swapped out the Carbon Fibre bonnet, but I think I'll keep the Carbon Fibre boot though...

Wow what started out as let's do some minor adjustments has now turned into an on going project that will take some time and a few bucks along the way.

Started out we were taking the headlights out to black out the silver backing inside and paint the projectors blue. After we took the lights out we went nuts and deleted out the factory airbox, replaced that with a pod filter, deleted out the intercooler spray bottle saving a heap of weight nearly 10kg in total and have now decided that we will take toe rocker cover off and put a nice new paint job on that too.

On top of that the car is going to be have a full respray, white with blue pearl and the wheels will be painted candy apple blue. Brake calipers will be painted and all fluids, a full clean of the engine bay which will include hiding alot of the exposed wiring. then I started om the interior, well I have taken out the DVD setup I had and installed a android tablet inot the factory double din dash insert.

<sigh> I looked at it. Our roads are still covered in salt and it looks like it won't disappear that soon. It's a little depressing, but something to look forward to. It's just that I'm ready right now.
