you can go about it 2 ways. do a harness swap ( which is what I did) then it's just plug and play. or you can get the pig tails from a damaged vehicle and to wire it is pretty simple. just follow the colors.

when I find my book that has the wiring i'll pm you a walk through.

Okay I appreciate it.

For the harness swap, don't you have to swap the engine, dash and HID harness? Isn't that a huge ordeal?

Well, I have kids so my free time isn't what it used to be but with the custom lines and fittings and random misc stuff it was probably eight hours total, not including giving the epoxy three days to fully cure.

i finally got the rebuild done on my IX. engine in, all buttoned up.. fluids in. started her up for about 30 secs. heard a weird noise which turned out to be the flywheel on the lower cover, near the starter.

then i realized i never torqued my flywheel bolts.

damn it.

so i spent the last two days wedging my POS 6spd out of the car. again. fixed the bolts. ten minutes later it was ready to put back in. again. i can't wait. taking a break until tomorrow. LOL.

damn it.
