Yeah it always cracks me up people blasting Mitsubishi pricing but are OK paying $750-800 etc from vendors plus shipping. Even walking into a by-the-book dealership and paying full retail is a better deal.

The only thing about the OEM I don't like is the ones i've seen don't have the tow hook cover.

US Stock, yes. There's like 100 of them in the country, and all the dealers that stock the 9 JDM bumper stock the tow cover.

Ahh I hadn't researched too much but the one I did see (i think it was on Amazon) was like $50 which is a sizeable amount of money for that you know. So that's not too bad all in all.

Just installed an Evo 9 turbo With a ported exhaust manifold.

Felt a difference compared to the 9.8 I had in there. Strong pull no doubt.

Wow I did not know that! The bayson one I got looked decently enough, took it to a body shop for paint and they said it looks oem quality, even has the stamped letters/numbers. It did come with the fenders stretch a little wide. Hopefully i don't have any trouble installing it.

For future reference, can you pm me which dealership around DC that have inventory of the bumpers/other imported items. Thanks.

Went to the garage for an oil change and they found a leaking steering end link, so both got changed out.

The car was 40,000 km (24,800 miles) so I suppose the failure was age, and not mileage-related.

One normal end link

The other end link that has thrown up

New ones going on
