I work in shipping and receiving, just seeing that pissed me off.
The dock supervisor should get suspended for letting that leave the terminal like that.
And don't let them bs you, " Sir, we've inspected the block and our technicians deemed it suitable for use, we're going to send it back to you".
YOU WANT A BRAND NEW SHORTBLOCK FOR THE INCONVENIENCE
If they took it apart, inspected and cleaned it that would be good enough for me. Asking for all new parts seems like a little much.

$3,200 dollars
Let me repeat $3,200
I want a brand new shortblock.
He paid for a FACTORY ASSEMBLED shortblock,
NOT a vendor assembled shortblock.
It's not even mines and it pissed me off looking at that !
A dent in the box I'll get over it.
The engine was out of the box, I can't get over that...
Don't take it personal, just a Thursday morning opinion !

Oh, i missed the part about it being an OEM shortblock. Yah F that noise give me a new one lol. Seems kinda pricey for an OEM shortblock though, i remember the days when you could get a full crate engine in the 4k range. Guess times have changed.

I guess prices go up quickly. I was quoted $3000 at one point and then it went up to $3200 within three weeks.

Looked at it as I walked out the garage to go to work. For a car that just sits, damn I love it.

Finally got my car back together after it sat for a year.
Bilstein HD Struts
Every nut and Bolt that can be replaced within the suspension I replaced (almost $500 in nuts and bolts!)
Whiteline Rear Sway Bar
Whiteline End links
Stop Tech Slotted Roters and Pads, will do the SS lines when we can get the stock ones off, kinda frozen at the moment any tips????
Fixed a ton of oil leaks, new valve cover gasket, my stupid DIP STICK had a hole in it so every time I boosted it blew oil under the car.
AEM UAGO
TRU Boost External Sensor to read up to 5 BAR

Next up, a proper Tune and Alignment.
