Hit it with ultra cut compound using a DA polisher and foam pad
Installed remanufactured front calipers, new pads and new rotors
Dropped off my original rear calipers for rebuilding and powdercoating

Installed seat lowering brackets cause im too tall

 

Finally brought it out from hibernation.. since winter is now likely over.

Drove it all day today

Man I missed driving this thing.

 

Compression test

Good news: 115-120 all across with the new starter, on the old starter I was 95-100. I don't know how or why this difference is possible, but this is after repeated tests, I don't think there's another variable.

I'm fine with these numbers, it's a weird motor, used 2.4 4g64 block on a MIVEC head with weird timing

Bad news: holy **** that's a lot of oil on spark plug #3 threads, I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that I lose like half a quart of oil every 200 miles

EDIT: Shop says a different starter can't change compression numbers, so I guess it's some other mystery variable.

 

i had oil on on one of my threads about a year ago and it was the valve cover seals on the plug holes, i would remove your valve cover and replace them all and that should fix your problem

 

Installed a new LSU 4.9 connector (cut by previous owner) and realized I bought the wrong wideband sensor lol

 

Washed and cleaned my car in prep for install and to look gorgeous on the dyno!

 

Evo was running last night now it cranks but no start then backfire...yes im getting spark and fuel.??

 

jump timing? Line up your timing marks to make sure
