Hi all, have had my Evo 9 for just over a week now and I use it as DD.
Have done over 2000km already and it's soooooooooo sweet, even when stuck in traffic for an hour!!
Just complaining about a weird "huuuuuu" noise coming from the engine when car is travelling between 2-3k rpm, it disappears when I press down the accelerator but returns after a second.
When the car is idle I tried to run the engine rev to 3k but no "huuuuu" sound, is it a normal sound?

 

Washed and vacuumed it, full detail coming in the next month here.

tried to clean IAC cause evo acting up no luck

 

still on jack stands on my drive way. subframe/steering rack taken out. transmission taken out. front bumper and headlights taken off. new clutch coming in on friday along with SS clutch line and brake lines so hopefully i get it all done over the weekend.

 

nice little flip out navi system came in today, get to get rid of my ghetto garmin one and will have the ipod dock in the center console so no more ****ing wires wooooooooooo

 

Took her to a shop to look see what the **** that whining noise is.......

 

Changed the motor and rear diff oil.

 

completed re-wiring everything i have added ever to it. tomorrow plasti dip rims

 

Got done breaking new motor in

 

Gave it the "Im mad at you face" because the alternator blew.
