Question with BOOST!

Ok i finaly got my car back toghter and did something very stupid.... I hooked the boost lines up the wrong way and drove the car for maby 2-3 mins with maby 2 pulls befor i relized my factory boost guage WAS MAXING OUT! I dont know how many pounds i probably pushed through her, i stopped right away and fixed the problem and she is running Just fine.

My question is could i have screwed something up in those few seconds?
Could i have done something that i wont see for a little whil;e down the road?

Any comments would be fine

if the car still seems fine, doesnt sound different your probably ok... if you want to look into it further do a compression/leakdown test

You probably hit around 26 psi, and the motor probably started to pulling timing to protect itself. More than likely you are fine.

i just hooked up a new boost gauge the other day. i used a different vacuum line, the one everyone says to use, and my gauge went all the way up to 2bar real quick. i turned down the mbc so it was going off the wastegate, around 12 psi and it still was at 2bar. i switched the gauge to another line and it reads perfect. idk what was up with it but for some reason that line caused it to read super high boost???
