he was passing multiple cars and one pulled out in front of him to pass too so he had to swerve. I'm not defending that, my only point is that it is easy to die even at normal highway speeds.

Anyway its very sad to see this happen to a young kid.
Very well may be the case. Other stories done by the local newspaper did NOT indicate 100mph speeds. FL is a very rainy state. I almost witnessed the same crash today with a Sentra SER, jumped the sidewalk into someone's yard, narrowly missed a light pole and a wooden fence. This was in an attempt to keep from plowing into the back of me.

Another part of the equasion besides the wet roads was his **** tires. PepBoys put Fusions on the rear and left bald ADVANS on the front. Bald tires and **** for tires on the other two does not make for a safe handling car.

Very sad to hear. It's tragic to see someone so young go this way

I know going that fast on a public road isn't the smartest thing to do. I also know when I was his age I used to drive way too fast and I'm not proud of it. I'm 26 now and I'm lucky enough to look back and count my lucky stars. Lets face it, we all mature thoughout our lives unfortunately this guy didn't get his chance.

It's when you read stories like this it really hits home. Life's too short and driving fast or racing on the streets, really isn't worth killing yourself or others.
LET'S KEEP DRIVING FAST ON TRACK.

RIP mate, may others see your death as an eye opener.

agreed, stories like this really hit my reality check, life is to short.

I really hope people learn from these mistakes which happen quite to often if you ask me. Keep it on the track, your life is not worth a stupid stunt or race. We all know the power and handling our cars are capable of, no need to prove anything to anyone!

RIP
