well, i am stuck like you guys, but i think once you start a few power mods, you will be hooked and addicted to getting more power. The cosmetic stuff adds up in price alot quicker than some of the basic bolt ons. But they both can get pretty pricey in a short amount of time. I think i am just going to do a few small cosmetic things and some basic bolt ons and see how it works out. vortex generator, tinted windows, intake, licp, mbc, exhaust, and tune. Then maybee apc front bumper with lip, apc rear diffuser, and gauges.

but its hard to say, i keep reading the forums and changing my mind on the plan almost every day.

Set a power goal and stick to it 1st. Then suspension, because you'll need it to adjust the wheels (camber, toe, ect...) that you're going to buy later. Don't forget the wider fenders you'll also need to accomodate the widest wheels you're going to buy. Last, but not least, a wing and functional front aero to keep you stable at the high speeds you're after. That's my recipe.

When this old guy quits getting the thumbs-up from kids walking down the street, or in other cars (and I pave my driveway) I will do some cosmetic mods. I wish I had some money to do more with the power. In a year I have only done clutch, intake, exhaust. Social workers dont make the kind of cash to even own evos usually, let alone hop it up.

IMO, I like the Evo the way it is from the factory. With the exception of a CF lip. Wingless and de-badeged is on the top of my list. Power, handling, and stopping are my main goals for mine when I get it.

But, to each his own.

I feel the same way about cosmetics. I want to do cosmetics, but want some bolt ons to. I have decided to do 1 bolt on and then do 1 cosmetic. Im ordering my ic piping kit and then getting springs since i already have rims.

I did my build first, I didnt care about how the car looked. Everyone thought it was stock and I like that. I have one last thing for my build so I just started on the cosmetics. Do your build the way you want, after all it is your car........

My goal is dumping as much money as I can on engine and keeping the exterior completely stock.

If there's no performance value to the car, I don't do it. But that's just me. I say you go for power first to back up the evo look. =)

The evo's already look nice the way they are so doing performance mods first is prob a good idea.
