Who is stuck in the same cosmetic boat?
car is my dd...just got pulled over 2 weeks ago for my exhaust...and living cali is no help...there are tons of evos out here i know that are modded...
its just a hassle for me to fix up the car, then a moment later have to put it back to stock to get checked off by the police. being that the car is a dd, i am satisfied of the power this car have. i've had the evo for a while, and i know how to drive it, but i rather learn how to drive it out in the track first and feel its full potential before adding anything to it

i feel u man !!! i am doing the same thing... i was doing cosmetic mods... then i needed more power so i am ... i kinda am doing half and half.. ill get big power mod then a sweeet cosmetic mod .. like i am getting the bushwacker tranny this weekend...and then its JDM rear and votrex diffus. and pretty much done for a bit til i get more money... hahaha
Pretty much near reaching my goal bolt on wise. Only other part I want to add is an upgraded intercooler. Only cosmetic mods I've done is evo 7 tails, and shorty antenna that unfortunately got stolen off my car a couple weeks ago. I do want to get my windows tinted soon though lol. Power mods came first to me.
I did small thinks to the outside.. tint, powdercoated rims.. smoked lights, shorty antenna.. and im happy i just have to have it look unique then im happy.. But im about power aswell and power was always being added throughout that whole process.!
I want to put some cosmetic stuff on but I feel like I need to get power and handling out of the way before I go throwing on the show stuff. I'm slowly approaching my goal but I can't bring myself to purchase the front lip, jdm rear, and voltex rear diffuser until I'm finished or at least close to finish the other two areas.
I cant bring myself to get tail lights because I want that money to go towards the tune.
I'm thinking the same thing right now. Trying to spend $3 when i get back to states(3more months!!!!)
but for sure I'm getting JDM rear and voltex diffuser.
god i love the look of that diffuser.
already have small stuff like injen piping, intake, intercooler, tbe.

im kinda stuck in the same boat. im looking to get the cobb exhaust but i also want a jdm rear bumper. if i get the jdm cobb (witch is shorter) it will prolly burn my stock bumper. and i really dont wanna be paying 700 for the bumper and 600 for the exhaust at the same time.
I mixed it up a little bit. I started with power mods then did some exterior, aka wheels and then did a little handling...whatever category that falls under. The car is back in the shop getting a few more engine mods, as well as better brakes, and then I'm going to do a few more exterior mods that I have waiting at home.
