ok i hear and feel a little clunk when i start off in first gear but after the car is moving everything is normal?! it doesnt do it everytime i start driving in first but if the car was sitting for a bit it would make the clunk. can someone help me out here cause i dont know if its the clutch or the tranny

it just started doing this a few days ago and i really hope its not the trans any advice would be greatly needed thanks.

i know my clutch is going but i dont think the clutch would make a clunk but i dont know for sure! i hoping it is the clutch though

 

i had a similar problem...with my car at a stand still not moving, if i turned the wheel i would hear a clunking noise...also right when i start going i could still feel it a little but once moving it went away...i didn't know what it was at first so i got under my car and it was my stabilizer bar linkage....so i tighted that up and the noise went away

 

My brakes make a clunk when i first take off. I think its common.
