lost my key. Help!

Hey guys,

So, I bought my Evo 9 a few weeks ago, and today during a bike ride, I lost my key. I've looked everywhere, but can't find it. I feel like a complete idiot.

I was only given one key, and am now screwed. The nearest Mitsu dealership is 3 hours away, and because it's in Canada, might not even have the equipment as Evo's weren't sold up here.

Any idea if there is any way to get a set of keys made that doesn't involve trailering the car?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, thanks!

you could try, calling a locksmith, making a new key and turning off your immobilzer in your ecu thru ecu flash. then drive to mitsu dealer get a new set of keys and put your immobilizer code back in after you get the new keys programmed. just and idea though. good luck man
