evo has no warranty =p j/k
I never took my evo to dealership and dont plan to take it back.
I read they void warranty with even slightest mod or abuse on your car.

5 year/60k as mentioned for second owner. Its in the cars manual. Mods are cool.If anything goes wrong swap to stock and play it dumb.Afterall we are the "second" owner right? Who knows what the first owners put these bad bishes through.

Yea I wish Walker Renton was still around. They fixed my transfer case and tranny countless times under warranty. Guess that's why theyre not around anymore

i'm not from NY, but I would have to say 0 are mod friendly. they can say the mod messed up w/e you have messed up and then you have to buy the ungodly expensive part from them. with warranty work or taking it to the dealership in general, have stuff stock

i have a friend that tried to get his Transfer case warrantied...

They didin't deny him for his aftermarket clutch or Exhaust.

They VOID'd for his aftermarket rotor's and brakes.

Funny i know...

makes me wonder what they'll deny me for.

Korum replaced my battery after it died from being in storage for a year. I even told them it was in storage and they didn't say $hit. Mitsu dealer in long beach cali replaced my steering wheel under warranty after the glue on the inside of the steering wheel holding the leather together started to come apart. No gripes or hassels dealing with warranty work for me.

They told me when I bought the car that I had a warranty, but when I took it in to get synchros replaced they voided it because of an ACT clutch that was put in by the previous owner. Turns out they knew the car had the clutch prior to selling it to me, but told me it was stock anyways. When I went up there and *****ed they told me to buy an extended warranty.

You can also call the main MMNA CS #, they can confirm in-service date, work performed to date... 1-888-MITSU2008 ... but yeah any dealer should have this too.

I think its still 3 years/36K miles bumper to bumper (doesn't include, tires, brake pads and clutch ie any wear item) and 5 years/60K miles engine and powertrain for all subsequent owners after the 1st as stated in the Factory Manuals. Now if the car has any mods the warranty goes out the window ...

Second owner gets 5 years/60k miles warranty coverage. Same warranty coverage as the original owner, just not 10/100.
