test pipe problem

test pipe problem

so i got my test pipe in the mail and it does not have a hole in it for the o2 sensor. is the senor before the cat or do i need to drilll a hole in the pipe?

You will probably need to have an exhaust shop weld the o2 bung into it. Also you will need to either put a spark plug anti fouler or modify your ROM so you don't throw a check engine light. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions or concerns about doing this. BTW what brand test pipe did you get?

i gota buschur pipe and this pipe is awesome. the welds are perfect and they are just good.

i bouth an anti foluer so this would go on the o2 sensor before the cat right

who'd you buy it from? new or used?

if new, try returning and have it replaced. Could be a manufacturer defect.

im looking on ebay and some test pipes have o2 holes and some dont. Really confused right now.

so just return it bro and tell them that it's missing the bung-hole. U can always go and have it done by a muffler shop.

But in my opinion, get yourself a UR Testpipe. Their design eliminates having to run a defouler. Won't cause a CEL.

I have one and never had a problem.

Aren't the O2 bung locations different depending if you have an VIII or IX. I believe the IX's have the O2 on the cat portion where as the VIII had them in the mid pipe. I could be wrong though
