Exclamation Need help! / Advice

I have an 06 evo and since i got it second seemed notchy and third had a little grind to it even if shifted normal forget about quickly shifting into it. (slowly its ok) 4th shifts perfect as well as 5th. So i brought it to the dealer they checked it out said the mech noticed the problem and it WAS covered by warranty (car 1. has 10k miles on it and 2. is bone stock right now. All in all they had the car for a about 5 weeks i finally get it back with a rebuilt tranny (going to post the parts list/things that they fixed at the bottom) Now i got this back sat drove it to work pretty much and home, no time to mess with it and drive it around see if its really good. Well tonight i finally get out and drove it around and it seems the problem is still there.... Second isnt smooth, 3rd isnt either and will grind if shifted slightest bit quickly.

Do other people have second/third shifting problems?

I've havent driven another evo, so i mean it could just be me and thats how it is? but doubt it.

Heres what the work order says/parts/cause.

A couple questions first. Before mitsu rebuilt the tranny, how many miles were on your car and how often have you changed your fluids? That's awesome that they honored your warranty.

Bought the car with 8,890...... brought it in had 10010. The fact the car had such low miles, was completely stock, and so clean they honored the warranty...really no way they could have said no.

I was reading the list of bolt-ons in your signature and I'm now going to assume those came after the rebuild. A lot of evos have notchy transmissions, there's about a dozen different threads on why, and what to do, and how to do, and which fluid. When I got my IX I thought is was a bit much also and rushed to change every fluid in the drivetrain. It persisted, but when the fine folks at english racing told me it felt fine, I felt fine. Change your fluids. There's treads in the how to that'll walk you through it if you need em. The hard part is picking which to use.

Unless all the parts he's listed in his sig are sitting on a shelf in his garage, mitsu probably wouldn't do a thing for him now.

I thought I had read that the notchy second gear is normal on other threads but I could be wrong. The third gear problem is another story. If you are really concerned about it I would take it back but be sure to pull your mods first if possible.

My 2nd gear is really notchy and 3rd gear grinds too if I shift too fast when the car is really hot. Pretty sure the synchro is on its way out but fk mitsu and their "warranty". I'll wait till the tranny blows up or something then time for shep trans

These parts are sitting right here in my room actually still new in the box, nothing has been put onto the car at all yet so the stock issue is no problem.

Or anyone else fix these issues?
