hey guys i should be picking up my WW ix mr this weekend and the previous owner had the wing taken off and the holes on the trunk filled and painted. I definetly want to put the wing back on so what are my options... re-drill the holes ? is it hard or is this something i can do at home? bring to dealership or body shop? Sorry im new at this but im just not sure what to do in this situation. If this is possible to do at home anyone in jersey area care to help(yes i know ill get better feedback in regional forum lol ) thanks for the help guys

 

you could always sell the trunk lid and buy a winged trunk

 

I bet someone would trade you their trunk for yours.
Look on the underside of the trunk to see where the original holes were( two are below the rubber stoppers)

 

how many holes are there.... yea im sure somebody would trade there wing and trunk for this and then i could just sell my wing i suppose...

I would stay wingless, that way you will have less cops profiling you.
If not im sure someone will trade you.

 

if i do find somebody to trade. whats the going rate for a ww wing that is mint. only has 11k on it ,always garaged.

 

i think most people would just trade straight up no extra cost..i would trade but i want to keep all the original parts for my car
