Evo prices going up...

All shipped Evo's starting today will be increased .34%.

Ones sitting on dealers lots will still be at the original price. It just has to do with the Evo's shipped Sept 3rd and on.

According to who?

umm $ 31,000 * .34% (.0034) is $105.40. That sounds ridiculous.

According to Greg O'Neill. It's not ridiculous, they do this all the time. Typically it's a .1 or .25% price increase.

No extras/changes. Simply a cost increase due to the market. Happens all the time on lots of cars.

Does it have to do with increased petrol prices?

How's it that it's increased by .34% when people negotiate different prices anyways? Is it a fee tacked on at the end or something?

Fireball: Is this an increase in invoice price, MSRP, or both?

no, it's just that MSRP is going up and therefore, the dealer invoice is going up parallel with it.

So yes, you can bargain the price down a bit but the "market price" or "book value" of a brand new car is going up by that percentage. So theoretically, you would be able to bargain the price of a new evo 0.34% less.
