Well I just installed a ACT 6puck Unsprung and boy is it diffrent to drive. Well when I reverse and I start to release the clutch it makes a wierd noise kinda sounds if the clutch disk is rubbing on the flywheel like whiny dry noise..... I hope thats all it is ne1 else have this issue?

 

Drive it easy for a couple days see if it goes away. Could be on the pedal arm itself grease it up a little

 

Its kinda hard cause its unsprung and im used to riding the clutch a little bit. It seems like with the unsprung its either in or out and if you ride it a little it makes that noise stated above. Ne1 runnin 6pucks and have this same problem or got info on it?

 

Did you install a new flywheel or resurfaced your old one?

 

Could it be the throwout bearing? they can get pretty noisy if they are on the way out.

 

its just the clutch, when ur at a stop with the clutch in it sounds like a kind grind noise like its spinning, its just the clutch not broken in,i have the act hdss with streetlite flywheel pressure plate and its 6 pluck sprung, when i first got it, it did that till i fully broke it in, just drive it easy for 500 miles on street not free way and eventually it will go away
