are there gauges out there that come with mounting brackets that i can just screw to the Apillar, or i have to get separate pods (meaning the whole pillar with the pods already on it) that the gauge(s) will fit into ?

meaning is this my only choice?

or i can just do this -

the point is not to argue which car has it or not, i asked where i can find a suede pillar already with gauge pods ?
Yours are aftermarket/custom.

Nobody makes a suede gauge pod.

What's the best site to buy cheap gauges/gaugepods? Also, will other gauges fit perfectly in gauge pods that are made for the autometers?

well its ok, the actual pods can be black plastic, as long as the rest of the pillar is suede. the reason i asked is because i was so sure that its OEM. now that u r all telling me it was a custom job (albeit an amazing job that looks 1000% oem), all i want is to put 2 or 3 autometers on the pillar, and im looking for the best way to do it.

i would hate drilling holes in what i have now, since if i suddenly dont like the look, and want to remove the pods, i dont wanna end up with ugly holes in the suede... but i also cant just mount a regular plastic pillar with pods (which is the common thing to do), b/c it will obviously look a bit awkward considering how the rest of my interior looks

A singe would be easy. A 2-3 guage pod you may want to give to the pro's.

You may think about painting the JC bar and seat belt bracket. (if possible)

well i really only need one - boost (cause the oem gauge only goes to 1.5bar)... but if Im gonna be adding gauges, i thought, might as well add a wideband, and maybe even EGT temp gauge, for looks mostly... not that i truly need those 2
