I have the OEM straight from mitsu. I used it for a day outside then took it off.

I have a great one I don't use. It has the antenna sleeve and two side grommets that I installed so I could lock it down.

i have the OEM one and it fits fine on my IX... with or without the wing and antenna. i used it in a cleveland winter, most likely not as much snow as where you are but still more than arizona or cali

Car covers are not ideal in freezing or consistently wet conditions, personally I wouldn't recommend it, even keeping in mind Winters here are semi-Cali. Enclosed storage would serve you better.

I just purchased a calcarcover a month ago cuz my car is sitting 6 months and I just bought an X and didnt want a cheap autozone special I used last time for my VIII.

But the cover is really snug and custom fitted for the cars. It covers everything down to about 5-6 inches from the ground and has a rope to tighten it so it dont blow in the wind. I also purchased the lock and cable for extra protection that goes on the underside of the car.

I used to live in Mass so I know how harsh the winters could be and according to the site, It will handle the harsh weathers.

My girlfriend drives my car about ever week and a half. She washed it one week, And untill the next time she went over there, there were some really windy days and some fluke rain storms and she said the car was spotless just like she just washed it.

Notice the autozone special in the background......

Hope this helps with your decision
