Great question...I'm wondering the same thing! Sorry I don't have an answer, but hopefully someone out there does.

pricey, but its the best cover ive ever used. will not let an ounce of water through it, they are custom made to fit the car so the fit is very snug.

If you decide to buy a cover, make sure it is of good quality and breathable, the last thing you want is moisture trapped under there for long periods of time. One thing to keep in mind is that a covered car makes a great nesting place for rodents and they can do a lot of damage if they get hungry !

I would recommend against the car cover unless the car is garaged. I personally have seen car covers rub off paint after a windy winter.

Yeah, most of the better quality covers have soft fabric inside to prevent paint damage. A snug fit is important to keep it from flapping in the wind. On the other hand my Evo's paint is the worst I've seen on any car of mine so it wouldn't surprise me.
