Bumper fitment issue
Bumper fitment issue
Just did an ETS LICP, 3.5" I/C, And the UICP. Seems that the bumper (more so where the licp is) doesnt fit right and bumper cannot go back on?
anyone else have this issue, any suggestions?

It might be your t-clamps are facing the wrong way and preventing the bumper from going on. Ensure your t-clamps for your licp are facing down along with your t-clamps for your uicp. If they are facing straight out they will hit the bumper.
I also have the ETS 3.5" intercooler with their uicp but with the PPI licp and I don't have any fitment issues. I did notice during assembly that the t-clamp bolts were facing out and that was causing some issues. I fixed that though and didn't have any problems afterwards. If the problem seems like your licp is hitting maybe it needs to be adjusted.

old bump but i have searched and this seems to be my problem, I discovered that the bracket on the evo ix bumper is hitting the edge of the I/C tank. its the bracket that bolts into the care via the little holes next to the intercooler opening. anyone with any suggestions? (my t-bolts all face down with no undertray)

lol it wouldn't be trimming but complete removal of that bracket its the passenger side one. the driver side one fits perfect

i did NOT have to do any trimming with this ets 3.5" i/c and their pipes. I think it was the t-bolts for the lower pipe that were getting in the way. loosened, moved, tightened and was good to go!
You shouldn't have to...at all. I'm running the exact same setup. ETS 3.5in IC and both LICP/UICP and i had zero fitment issues. I did have to re-do the t-clamps since they were making it tougher to get the bumper back on but after that ...zero issues.
