Help me figure this out

So i go outside this morning and low and behold my car is gone. Come to find out it was towed. Cuz i didnt have a pass for parking at my new place. So my question is i leave my e brake on and car in gear when i park. Also the tow company wont tell me if they used a flat bed. So what could i be looking at wrong when i go pick it up?

the center diff could be shot if it was towed without a flat bed.
I think someone might have posted the dangers a while back

Damn...that sucks. Just keep your fingers crossed that they used a flatbed. If not, your car could suffer some broken differentials.

You can't sue the government. But you can sue the tow company and/or the truck operator. But if you left in in gear thats a big problem cause either they had to open your can and take it out of gear or use the wind and put soap on the bed to slide your car onto it and it make a loud screeching sound. otherwise your trannys gonna have to break. Most likely they use a wrecker and screwed your center diff. The tow truck guys are as intelligent as a monkey and they don't bother dragging out the flat bed for a illegal parking tow for the cops.
