Angry Bad Day Today:)

one of my front freeze plugs pop out of the block. I was Fu^k(n Pissed. So i pulled over thinking at first that my headgasket blew because of all the coolant. Thankfully it wasn't. And thats when i started looking around and the front freeze plug closest to the pulleys was out and pouring coolant all over. But the good thing is my headgasket is still good.
I had a 3rd gen supra and i would have known for sure it was the headgasket. So then i got to work to see if a buddy could go and get it with a trailer and bring it on base. But by the time we were leaving to get the car i got a call saying the city cops were near my car with a tow truck. So i hurried back to the car and started talking to the cop about what just happened. And i was pretty relieved that he said i had an hour to get it out of where it was parked.
So then i found out that my buddy couldnt get his trailer. So i started taking out the front axles and about 20 min i got the axles out. so then my other buddy got his truck and pulled me back on base. So now im waiting on freeze plugs to get into the dealership so i can put it back in.
Does anyone know what would cause freeze plugs to keep blowing out? cause this isnt the first time it happened.

excessive pressure in the coolant system. Or maybe it was improperly installed or a build up of corrosion. always make sure u use 50/50 mix
They're actually called core plugs. They are to plug holes that the factory uses for machining purposes. They are not in any way a freeze-fail safe. ( obviously your engine wasn't cold)

I dont remember hearing anything( bubble/coolant movement) through the cooling system. I used to hear it with my supra through the heater core. And i didnt hear it this time. Could it be anything with the water pump moving too much or not enough coolant?

I searched around online for you. I did repeatedly see corrosion issues. Iron blocks matched with a steel cap causes corrosion with ease. If there were combustion gases in your coolant Id expect to see your coolant reservoir over filled, and your rad hoses would be pressurized even when cold. Try new plugs and a coolant flush.

A head gasket leak can pressurize the coolant jacket enough to cause a core plug 'freeze plug' to pop out. Happened to buddy of mine.

head gasket failure or large air bubble in the coolant system

Well I got my freeze plugs in yesturday. I ordered 4 of them from the dealership, just in case this happens again i dont have to wait 2-3 days. But i started working on it at my shop around 5 or 6 pm. Got the turbo, radiator, intake, intercooler + pipes, a/c condensor and fan, bumper, downpipe. Took out all that stuff to make it so i wouldnt have to pull the motor out.
The freeze plug was the one that was closest to the powersteering pump. If you take out al the above you can get a perfect straight shot at it at about 8 me and my buddys went to get some dinner. came back around 930 and got things finished. also welded in a new bracket for my exhaust.
But all i have to do now its put in aome 50/50 mix and turn the key. also got a new radiator cap.
