Baked brake dust won't come off! HELP

I have some brake dust on the inside corners of my rims that won't come off. I have tried using some of the chemical products but they didn't do the full job. Anyone have any tips or suggestions... Thanks!

Ever try using a pressure washer? They are pretty good at removing brake dust.

I use a lot of car wash detergent and elbow grease for those obstinate stains

i had some big chunks of brake dust or something on the lip of my wheel. i used some tar remover and a dremel with a little cotton buffing wheel on low speed to get it off. i dunno if thats the safest, but it took it right off with no other effects.

I have one but never thought about using it, I will give it a shot. As far as elbow grease I have done it already. The previous owner must have let it sit there for months and now its really f#4%ed up!

Magic eraser. Works every time. Just be careful with this, and the other recommendations. If you use them regularly, they will destroy the finish on your rims.

Depending on how much is there you'll be going through a lot of clay bars, but if your going to try that route go with a clay magic clay bar. It's the cheapest and one of the best OTC clay bars I've found. Also a good wheel brush can be a life saver. Check out detailersdomain.com. He's a vendor here and we actually get a 10% off every sale by entering the promo code "evom" at check out. If you don't find anything there try autogeek.net too.
