He set the record at Rock Falls last year - so who knows if it's been broken yet, I'm sure it has!? That tune price is pretty much dead on - I believe RS Motors starts at $150 an hour.

Anyways - that is just personal preference on my behalf, just as it was preference to whoever wrote this thread to say that Shane is the best. Jordan @ MAP is also very good. The only reason I avoid DB is because the last time I called up there to schedule a smoke test and tune the person who answered the phone did not know if they had an AWD dyno so they could do my WRX, and then asked me if my WRX was AWD...yea...hung up the phone at that point...

Other than that everything on here is just excellent! Already got my shorty antenna on, Turbo Timer was installed yesterday and I am on the prowl for my Evo IX BOV. Ron at RS told me about this yesterday - if it had not been for that I would have NEVER guessed that the stock BOV from the 9 would be that good! I'm also going to be looking to get rid of my slight "clunk" when shifting haha, that is getting incredibly annoying..!!

Thanks for all the info!
never call, emailing Shane is the best thing. I remembered I called once to make an appointment with Shane, the lady told me that he was booked for the next 3 weeks. I emailed him the next day and he got me in two days later.

Yes they have an AWD dyno. How can he be one of the best evo tuners without an AWD dyno.

That's exactly what I was thinking - I knew DB did AWD tuning but when I asked and the person doesn't know, REGARDLESS of your position within the company, that to me just makes me say "forget this" and move on. My personal preference will always be Ron @ RS Motors regardless, but tuners are just like parts - some people swear by one and others swear by another.
