cleaning your evo in the cold
You guys all need to pick up some Optimum No Rinse from Autogeek. All you need after that is a bucket of warm water, and some microfiber towels. Like the name, there's no rinsing! Lots of professional detailers use this product during the winter.
the garage option seems to be the best one but not everyone has access to one especially in the winter. Like i stated before, clay bar your car before winter, and just wash it when it's not cold out. or take it to an indoor professional carwash where you can pay someone to keep it clean for you with out having to worry about the water and soap freezing.
I bought this from Griot's Garage and works fantastic!! Like all their products, its definitely worth it.

Clay barring won't do anything but remove contaminants that were already on the paint surface and can strip your existing coat(s) of wax/sealant. That's fine if you're prepping the paint for wax, but using a clay bar alone will not protect your paint one bit. Go ahead and clay bar if you haven't in the last 6 months to a year, but you need to follow that up w/ some wax or sealant for protection.

im from north jersey, i go to one of those self service carwashes and after im done ill just let it airdry/freeze. just kick on the window defroster and u good to go
if u want to dry it off however just let the car run and have the vents blowing warm air in the car the water wont freeze over as fast giving u enough time to dry it
