Ok so my dd crapped out on me and im keeping the STi but I need another car to. So I just found an 04 8 rs and it looks good too me but im not that familiar with DSMs. The asking price is only 17,000 so im a little weary but if you cold take a look at it and give me your opinions I would greatly appreciate it.

Has anybody changed the manual windows to power before?

 

The car looks clean and the price seems about right. How does it drive? Looking at it won't do any justice for you. If you're wondering if its a lemon or not, take it to a mechanic you trust.

As for the windows, im sure you could power them but its a pita. Its more than just slapping a motor and switch in each door. If you wanna control all four windows from the driverside door, the wiring would be such a headache. might as well just find an 03 or 04 gsr for around the same price. Dont buy something if you already know you won't be happy with it. Just my opinion though

yea keep looking. I was looking at that Evo earlier this year. Guess its still not sold. I got a newer year and lower mileage one for around the same price. Be patient if you can wait...good luck.

I'd love an 06 gsr but im not looking to spend that amout of cash lol. Since the evo's gonna be my dd im just keeping the STi for rainy days I guess but i'll keep looking.

 

i think u should keep it the way is the 04 rs is a light car if u thinking about racing it
that is a good price i think and for a daily driver. all u have to do is boy a fp red and have a 500whp beast

keep the evo for a DD and the sti for a weekend car? wow thats one of the first time ive heard that said before...haha to each there own. gl with the search brotha waiting sucks but you will find one
