cusco suspension stuff

Will my car still be streetable if I use every Cusco chassis stiffening upgrade on my Evo? AMS has 5 items posted on there site. Just wondering what will happen if all of them were installed.

Well, there is a whole forum dedicated to suspension...

...the Evo is pretty stiff already. I doubt you will feel a difference on the street.

Define what you mean by streetable? Do you mean will it pass a state safety inspection? Or do you mean will it be drivable on the streets, and not too much to handle?

To answer those questions: Typically, depending on the state, if you remove any crash beams, your car will not pass safety inspection. Epically if you remove the front crash bar, since that is visible through the front bumper. If you were going to use every bar they have then you will be replacing the front crash beam with the Cusco one, which doesn’t help you in a crash

As for drivability of the car, I noticed a big difference when I put all the braces on the car to include the sub frame braces, trunk cage, and strut bars.

Hope this answers your questions.

thanks,

caelin~

Sorry for my original question for not being very clear. What I meant to say was, will the car be too stiff to bare? And how will it perform on the street?

I don't really get why your asking this question. i'm assuming you want this stuff so that you tighten up the feel of the car. Thats why I want all the braces and stuff too and I will love the fact it will be tight all the time. Yeah it might be more stiffer to drive but who cares. I don't care about how stiff the car rides or else I wouldn't have gotten this car.

Actually, I have absolutely no intention of getting anything to stiffen my suspension. Maybe a Cusco front crash bar, but just because it looks cool. I actually considered putting this in the "Off-topic" section because I posted this at 4am I was bored and just curious if anybody has it and if so, how they like driving in the street with it.
