Heat Blowing Cold on Feet / Warm on Face?

It has been pretty cold here the last couple days (sub zero) and last night when driving I noticed my feet getting cold even though the car was fully warmed up. I adjusted the knob to blow on my face and the air was hot; I then adjusted it to blow only on the feet and the air was cool. Any idea what could be causing this?

Reach down there and feel the air with your hands. I've noticed this cold feeling too once in a while but when I feel the air with my hand its actually warm.

It's probably because your feet were already sweating making any kind of air blowing on your feet cool. Moving around a lead foot does break a sweat Seriously though, feel the air coming out of the feet area with your hands. There is simply no explanation as to why it comes out cold considering it all comes from the same place.

i definitely do not miss chicago weather but boston does no better.

i think you should feel it with your hands. feet sensitivity could be misleading. like the other guys said, could be feet sweat

I have reached down there and the air is cold. It's not A/C cold, but it's definately not warm. My hands and face are toasty and my toes are numb I can't figure it out for the life of me...
