Unhappy 2006 Evolution limited cabin technology

I must first apologize if I post this in the wrong section.

I love the look of the 2006 Evolution MR and I might consider buying one in the near future. The problem is the car has limited cabin technology. Only thing that is consider tech. advance is its key remote (woohoo *roll eyes*). I like the performance but its nice to have some luxury pleasure with it too like remote keyless entry/iginition, auto climate control, Electroluminescent instrumentation with startup sequence, and auto dim. mirrors. I know EVOs are built for performance and not luxury pleasure, I like to add a few luxury items to my EVO

I would of just buy the Lexus IS 250 AWD but the performance/looks is no match compared to the EVO.

Question is, do you guys think these luxury items is possible to install and what place I need to take my EVO to get it done properly? I know it might cost me a pretty penny but thats what I want. If its too much of a hassle then I would just have to settle for a Lexus AWD.

Any suggestions/help would be appreciated thanks

Thats for sure. I got into the evo community from a 2001 Audi S4 and its night and day difference as far as luxury goes.

You can get leather and sunroof with an SSL kit. The door panels are also leather so really gives the interior a much nicer look.

Cheers!

You'd probably be much happier with the Lexus in the longrun. If you're looking for luxury features in an Evo, you'll be shocked when you get the car. It's loud (ie. cabin noise), ruthlessly mechanical and as raw of a machine as could be purchased in this time frame. No amount of fluff can cover that up. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Good luck.

The only Evo I could think of that has some technology would be the Evo X's. Im sure you could add some of the items you want but in the end as some other people have stated, you'd probably be happier with the Lexus.

If you want luxury, don't look at Evos. If you want any type of performance AND luxury, be prepared to spend some $$$.

Can't have your cake and eat it too

+1 The only luxury you are going to get with the evo would be leather seats and a sunroof from the SSL package...You could also put in a double din with a touchscreen nav or something of that sort but in the end its still not going to be luxurious. Nobody buys evos for luxury so if that is something important to you and you still want performance than I would look at something like an Audi S4.

You will be happier in the long run with the Lexus. The evo was never designed to be comforable in any way. It dosen't even have cruise control...
