Ok i have been looking around trying to decide on what exhaust to get for my 06 evo ix and i cant decide on what to get.... does anyone have any good suggestions for a good loud deep exhaust that wont make my wallet bleed... i want to spend $1000 or less on it. i was looking at a megan turbo back, does any one know if they sound decent? also whats the difference between turbo can cat back? plus where i live where theirs are no emission standards sot thats not an issue. any help would be appreciated thanks

 

For sound clips check youtube, I've heard good thing about the megan turboback. For 1000 or less there are endless choices. Turbo back is from turbo to tip and cat back is your stock cat back (hence the names). GL

megan tbe is a nice bang for the buck, i have tanabe concept g blue its really loud with megan down pipe and test pipe and the megan are solid parts. buy turbo back (full exhaust system) you will get the best gains from this as it will replace the whole stock exhaust which is 2.5 with 3 inch which is what most aftermarket exhausts are, better flow from this. as to sounds just search on here there is a nice thread with alot of exhaust reviews and clips.

 

I also have Tanabe G Blue, and it sounds nice IMO, turbo back is around 900 dollars! ( down pipe, test pipe, exhaust!)

i listened to the sound clip for Tanabe web site for the Tanabe G Blue kit and i heard a few on youtube that sound allot louder and hella sicker is their other parts you can buy to swap out from their kit to get to sound more aggressive?
