I just ordered fluids, brake pads/rotors and an MR BOV. After getting all of that done, I plan to get a tune and leave the car alone for the summer and just drive.

The only other things I am considering for this year (before next fall) are new wheels/tires, relocating the battery to the trunk, and installing a wideband sensor/getting a tactrix to start logging.

I have some big plans for the car this year:

First off I'm installing my new Defi boost guage, Uego & possibly my hard piping for the intake tomorrow.

Then I'm going to order a Buschur test pipe, ETS UICP, mini battery kit and 3.5" inner cooler for power. I'll install them when they come in and get retuned for it.

For handeling/stopping I plan on switching out the springs to either swifts or tanibe springs. Not sure yet. I also am going to be ordering some Hawk HP's, slotted rotors front and rear, SS lines and fluids for the braking system soon.

Lastly, a little love for the exterior and interior. I'll be getting a JDM bumper, removing my ugly trailer hitch and problably installing some sort of harness bar and harnesses on the interior for the hill climbs and track days this year.

Woot, a lot to do and not enough time before the racing season starts!

Can't wait to start tracking this spring/summer. Hopefully get a couple track days under my belt but in meantime get my car ready for it. Time for some sticky tires, ss brake lines, brake fluid, some braces.

09 wish list

I started gathering AMS parts in 08 along with an HTA 3582 turbo. If I could get the whole turbo setup together, put on and tuned via ECU (with some Mellon help) or AEM EMS (if I swing that way), I will call it a success.

Making it to the track for fun, would be icing on the cake to be sure.

Happy New Years,
John

My plans are some carbon fiber goodies for under the hood. I also plan on doing the diy for blacking out my headlights. I'll probably need a new clutch as well.

Hopefully if all goes well, my plans for the Evo is as follows:

1. Order my exhaust, O2 dump housing, JDM rear bumper, and fuel pump
2. Install them along with all the other parts I have ordered.
3. Have it tuned by Ivey
4. Bring it to the track and maybe some auto x events without breaking anything.
5. If I have enough money left later in the year, Ill get myself some coilovers.

Then in 2010 lol, I hope to build the head, get an exedy twin disk and hopefully have the car paid off by then.

Install my meth kit, Exedy twin, ported and polished intake manifold with 65mm T/B. Get tuned and hope for 11.5-11.8 1/4 mile time.

I like my car the way it is. That said, I'd like to refine my conservative tune and maybe install an oil catch can and it's a big maybe. My mods are very basic and I'm happy. Most of my plans revolve around the act of driving.
