black ice= front end damage
fawk that . take it to a good shop like a dealership and have them order your they oem parts the prices are outrageous and hard to get parts. tell them you would like to suggest going with parts that are faster to get. jdm headlights (2) for the price of one oem one. and the factory evo IX bumper cost the same as the 8. then everything else oem. thats just my opinion. dont short your self. good luck
I also just got new tires and an alinment a week ago they are bfg g force sport besides for this incident they seemed to preform very well. fugiwara i might take you up on that offer depending what the body shop says i kinda want a do luck front lip but they are kinda pricey.
If you know people in an auto body shop to get you a good price on parts the OEM stuff is pretty cheap. I'm replacing the whole front bumper for about 600 or so bucks. This does not include the screens and brackets.
I'm replacing my bumper for entirely different reasons than you. I have quite a few rock chips in the paint on my bumper, I got it that way when i bought it used. I also damaged the lower lip so instead of just getting a nice lower lip I'm going to replace the bumper with a factor part and get 3m covers on them so they will look protected.
If you want I can try to ship you out my bumper once i get my replacement. The lower lip i have is pretty screwed up I broke most of the plastic mounting pieces off the driver side.
Edit:
That headlight might be savable if you didn't break it apart on the inside. Should be able to sand down the scratches with progressive finer sandpaper then buff it out.

i would make sure that everything is good. i hit a deer getting onto the highway about a year ago and my damage totals ended up being about 13,000. it was not a good day. took so long to repair. good luck...
Fixing the headlight is outa the question the inner plastic is broken in a bunch of places. I was looking on the mitsubishiparts.net and for just the ds headlight its like 850 for one if i go jdm mr from lancer shop its 720 for 2 and i like those lights better so i might go that way if my insurance lets me. I was looking in the fs section but the search was down yesterday and i couldn't find ne of the pieces that i need that were in good condition so ill probly just get a new OEM front bumper. thanx for all the comments its definatly gonna help make my decision.
The bulb for the headlight is fine the housing is crack into a bunch of pieces so i need atleast a new housing. The bumper i don't think can be repaired because there is three or four places that have holes in it where i hit the divider. i am gonna search and see wat i can find as far as used pieces since the search is now back up.
