My gas mileage has fell considerably. Last tank I got an all-time worst 19mpg highway without beating on it

Ive feel like this year the winter mix has really given the evo a hard time in terms MPG's, mileage has been particularly bad but the car runs well. I barely get 200 miles out of a tank in mixed mostly city driving.

I stopped caring about my mpg about 3 months ago. Though I have to tell you man, 7-10 minutes of warm up time is overkill. I autostart my car in the morning when I take my dog out to **** and I'm in the car NO MORE than 5 minutes later, usually less. By then the temp gauge has moved and it's good to go. Granted I don't boost til it's where it belongs, but I can tell you from experience that letting your car warm up that much is KILLING what little "mpg" you can get.

My freinds licence plate frame on his IX SE said it best "Theres more to life than good gas milage"

I get 200 or less to a tank. Do I care? Not really because unlike all the sheep out on the roads in the civics and priuses I enjoy my time behind the wheel. It's more than an A to B for me.

it's a proven fact that cars get less mpg in colder weather also in colder weather the turbo gives a lil more boost so ur burning more gas

I bought my evo to drive it and enjoy it. Its not an A to B type of car. Does this mean that I am always on boost and beating on it? Hell no! Never boost untill she is fully warmed up and such. But anyway for those of you trying to get the most out of every tank by never going into boost whats the point? Why not just buy a civic? I love every minute behind the wheel of my car. In the end if I only get 210 instead of 250 per tank do I care? No because I bought my car to enjoy it and that is what I do.
