I was talkin to a guy who has a TB IX SE and his side windows are tinted. He said it's done from the factory. I checked the windows for tint serial #'s and there is none. Was there really a factory window tint options for any evo's?

No, never heard of a OEM tint option. The dealer he bought it from probably had them tinted.

no there isn't unless u buy the japanese model...they are tinted on the rear doors and rear glass

Actually every car has a little tint in the window but nothing like the pic. As far as I know US evo's did not come with dark tinted windows. The pic looks like 20% window tint and the only thing that I know that comes dark from the factory is suv's Back windows only.

 

Just noticed the OP is from Slovenia. JDM Evo's had a factory tint option. Must be nice.

The OP's picture has the long license plate bumper, so its probably JDM too.

yeah ok man...i got some evo ix book off of ebay from some japanese guy...has like the brochure for evo ix and evo ix wagon...lol...crazy stuff...he had another book called the history of the evo but it was too expensive so i didn't get it

 

The car on the picture is an USDM model (rear wiper kinda gives it away). Just has the JDM rear.
