Its more apparent to scam these days.... Open your eyes, 70,000 people just look there jobs yesterday 1-26-09 and your shocked that people are trying to scam.
That is why I pay more and go through a reputable company. Not taking away from the good sellers on here but as stated, who knows anymore.
I didn't want to sound like a jerk with the open your eyes comment but it's true man. These days, a lot of people are doing things they normally wouldn't do to pay the bills.

I just want to share my story with you today about a seller named: "rpmsteve".
I'm not sure about some other buyers in this evom forum but rpmsteve is one seller that you ALL need to be aware of..
Here is what happened....
On December 29. 2008 , I was looking for a OEM car cover for my car and finally came up with this thread started by rpmsteve..

His thread started with this heading
"Oem Mitsu Dealer Parts!!!!!!! Cheaper Then Your Local Dealer!!!!"
I Thought the whole process of purchasing product from a proven seller (by looking at the comments from the last buyers) was enough for me to trust the seller. However, whenever I tried to contact him over the transaction period, he did not reply nor given me any information on shipping process, tracking number, and etc.
When I realized the item did not shipped and did not received, I filed a claimed on Jan 14, 2009 through PayPal.
When he FINALLY noticed after I sent another private message to him, he resent the item on Jan. 19, 2009. The reason??? hm...
1. he wants to get his money back from PayPal.
2. so he could screw me
I WAITED another EIGHT DAYS after I filed a claim, I finally received the item exactly on Jan. 22, 2009 9:21 AM.
!!!!!!!That is almost a MONTH after I purchased an item fromRPMSTEVE!!!!!
When I opened the box, he sent me OEM EVO X ENGINE COVER!!!!!......by the way i have evo 9. so there is no use of this item what so ever lol.
AGAIN..with huge disappointment and upset mind... Very next day i sent another message to him saying that "the seller did not sent the right item AGAIN...please stop wasting my time and send the right item..."
HIS RESPONSE???????????
"theres nothing going on.......Now you can just sell it to recoup your money. its not my problem" quoted by rpmsteve.
IT IS NOT MY PROBLEM.......hmmmmmmmm that is all i have to say...
I am amazed and shocked by the event that i had through a month period.
I wanted to share this story with you because...
This could happen to you,too. aware every time you purchase an item from him. This seller CAN or WILL scam you at any cost..so I believe.

OOOO, I LOVE how you LEAVE out so much of the story. This is a good story of why you dont act like a JERK OFF. I have NO PROBLEM taking care of misunderstandings but when you act like this guy, you can deal with it on your own.
This guy PM's me with a subject of "OEM cover" and a message of "price shipped to xxxxx"
I have a thread open at the time for an "OEM Engine cover for an Evo X" So i respond "75$ shipped" assuming he's referring to that.
Him: "Do you have paypal"
Me: yes xx@xxx.com
Him: "please send me tracking info when it ships (or something to that effect)
**** Now I hadn't shipped it because it was new years weekend, so I was going to reply with a tracking number once it shipped.
Him: this is thrid times i tried to contact you please reply immediately
Me: Dude its new years weekend, I'll ship it by monday or tuesday the latest, Look at my feedback, I dont screw people over (remember, he paid me on Dec 29th)
OK, so at this point, I never hear from him again. I ship it out that mon or tues 9I dont remember) But I FORGOT to PM him back the tracking number. To be honest, I partied hard all weekend and I sell ALOT of stuff, so I forgot. It is what it is. I NEVER hear back and then one day I wake up in the AM and I have a paypal claim against me for NON RECEIPT. I'm Like WTF???? I never heard this guy never got it. Then I see he also PM'd me and said

Anyways, I contact UPS and turns out the box fell apart, label is partially ripped, they only have part of my name, IDK Some BS, but they had it at the warehouse, so i went and got it. it wasnt damaged at all. So I got it, reshipped it, and gave paypal the tracking info.
paypal REFUNDS ME my money now after he gets it and the NEXT PM I get is this:

Then this thread surfaces. THAT IS THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH. Thats EVERY Pm, everything as it happened.
Moral "Dont just file a complaint and be a **** before you speak to someone. O AND, he left me my FIRST negative feedback I've EVER gotten without even speaking to me to see what happened. I have no patience for people like this. This is a private sale, I'm NOT a vendor. The customer is NOT always right and I'm not going to bend over backwards for someone like this.
And on top of all of that, now go look at his original post and look how much he LEFT OUT of the PM's that we had. he even LEFT OUT when I said "If you werent such a ****" so that just goes to show you what kind of person he is.

OP sounds like a tool. i mean the dude has 60 something sales/buys in his feedback, all positive except the OP's feedback
