yeah but you gotta know where the limit is, it is something I do with every car I get , so I know the extreme limit of fuel..

I've been lucky enough to never run out of gas but I've gone far below the last dash on the E and dozens of miles past the light

Wow, I never thought of making this into a competition...I'm game.

 

Half tank? Thats like nearly a quarter tank left for me and thats when I usually fill up. I hate being under 1/4 tank because I have really bad OCD and it'll kill me to have it that low. Only once have I ever gotten that low, and I almost killed myself. Hahaha! But I've never filled up more than 11 gallons I believe. You guys are crazy! I thought the Evo's MAX capacity for gas was 12 gallons.

 

There is an easy way to see if the gas station is ripping you off or the pump is messed up. Bring a 5gal container or what have you and fill it up to exactly 5 gallons. See if its just right, too little, or too much. Obviously dont keep filling if its gonna overflow and there is like another 1/4 gal to go.

If you are pumping over 14gal. Most likely the pump is defective/not calibrated correctly. Its not possible to arrive at the pumps exactly at 0 and then pump 14-15gals. rofl.

I put about 12.0 im too affraid to go pass that lol.

 

I fill up after my gas light goes on and then it automatically stops at around 12 gallons.

 

3 gallons....a quarter miles worth at full throttle!!!

 

Drove 35 miles to work with the light on....went to fill up on my lunch break to find out the station's pumps were on the fritz....drove 40 miles home (and another gas station)...put in 14.1.

 

24 gallons was the most ever!







































12 in the tank and 12 in the two five gallons gas can in the trunk . Seriously, I rarely if ever let my Evo go below half empty.

 

Unless my math fails me, two five-gallon gas cans would total ten gallons.

 

Day I got the car, bone dry tank and lines empty, and sat for two years. 14.6 fill up. Pulled into the same station the other day 14.4. i was low lol

 

I filled it and had another 5 gallons in my trunk for my four wheeler once do I win?
