seriously they are all right the only warranty you have is aftermarket companies your bank account and yourself. They can void your warranty in a second for just the catback. the second your decided you wanted a evo and bought it the warranty was not part of the claim lol. It really does depend on the dealer and how mod friendly they are for real. Some dont care until it gets excessive claims some really care and will not lift a finger. My dealer flip flops i have no warranty on my evo that i know of but i have already fixed all the problems myself. Example when i had a bad rear o2 sensor wires cut(previous owner) my exhaust was leaking very bad cat was bent as well. So i had no choice but to replace my whole exhaust system with a Nvidia N1 preformace exhaust and since i was at it a Perrin downpipe and test pipe. My dealer lifted the car and said o2 sensor is bad needs to be replaced and quoted me 487 to install it and should fix the dreaded p0136 error lol. They also said having no cat will cause it as well next time you come in here i hope this car has a cat on it so we can replace it under warranty ok. I understood what he ment go put the cat on and they will do the job BUT lol i laughed and said my car has no warranty left on it that i know of anyways so i did not care. i promptly bought a rear o2 from a member on here and preformed the non fouler fix plus another rear o2 for 95 dollars and like 30 minutes of my time and fixed it myself. so they could have voided my fantasy warranty if he wanted to but its all on the dealer JUST DONT HOLD YOURSELF BACK THINKING YOUR GOING TO HAVE WARRANTY TO COVER YOURSELF.

I got a slight grind in 3rd but I don't want to take it in have them fix it then slap me with a bill because the warranty was already voided. So you're just saying don't even bother?

I've talked to dealers that said outright they will not warranty anything on any EVO that comes in PERIOD.

I just as I wouldn't let 3/4's of those meatballs touch my car anyway. I got 2 things warrantied on mine ever and that was the Wing (which the Fu&^ed Up and the seat belt lock (One bolt they got that right) .

To start with they don't warranty clutches, brakes, tires, or in other words, about
20% of the car.

I've never had a problem with warranty claims. Got my cat and tranny replaced under warranty, with no issues. Yes, im special.

This thread would be shorter if it were titled, "What Doesn't Void Your Warranty?"
