this has been posted before. both pix are just photoshops and this thread really should be in 2004 rumors.

 

Those have been posted before. But you'll never be able to find the thread because you can't search for 'IX'.

Why does everyone claim 'photoshop' for any picture they see, but can't believe ? Obviously, those pictures are speculation for EVO's, but those headlights are going to be in the new lancers. So I'm guessing they'll eventually make it to the next generation EVO.

Check out this photoshop. I was able to create the Chicago Auto Show background. Then I was able to use various filters to distort the headlight assembly. And I finished off with some lighting glares .

 

the reason i claimed photoshop is becuase it is. the article in japanese said that it is a computer generated pics of how they think the new EVO would look like based on the new lancer redesign.

If you search for 2004 Lancer on this board, sad to say you will find a pic of the rumored 2004 Lancer that looks exactly like that.. It's hideous in my opinion..

 

i was just at the mitsubishi meeting and they have not realesed if the evo will even be in america again for 2004. they told us if it is it will not be till late spring.

Also, I'm not too fond of the new headlights for EVOs, but I do think the regular lancers will look sharp.

My point of not finding information about EVO IX was you can't search a 2 character string like 'IX'. I wouldn't think of looking for 2004 Lancer to find out about the EVO IX. There's isn't going to be a next generation EVO out in 2004.
