things to look for in buying an evo ix
i am looking at buying my first evo. what are some thing i should look for.
i am going to be racing it mainly at the strip. maybe a couple track days but mainly strip.

For what you are looking at doing...i would buy an 03 that already has upgrades (motor, xfer case, tranny, etc) the extra cost is minimal, esp if youre going to beat on it.

Yup What he said ^^^^ I would buy a 03 8 and just rebuild everything itll be alot cheaper than purchasing a 9.
