what does that mean lol. a gun that read or matches paint codes never heard of it. In fact my tow hitch is at a auto paints supply store and they have access to 1000s upon 1000s of colors and colors in japan and even they are having trouble matching it. they told me by monday they should have something making some calls to other paint providers

There is infact a gun like device that you place on the car(in this case the rear bumper) and it will tell you which colors and the ratios of each color you need to achieve the desired color. Not too many shops have this machine since it costs beween 10 to 15 grand.

I am also thinking about getting the jdm rear, but no one seems to have found the exact match yet.

I GOT it IT. My local Sherman Williams Custom mixed the paint now i actually have some touch up paint for it there is NO paint code as they custom mixed it. As i been told as i was doing research the lower half is some kind of mits japan custom mix. I would have to write them and request it. Could take two weeks. thats why i took my tow hitch to them to see if they could mix it up. PERFECT MATCH they can only custom mix it if you want some let me know and i can get you a touch bottle of it. Im glad i stuck with it if i put my mind to it im like a bulldog ill eventually get it done.
