Eva is mine till the end, she will always be with me. yes she is kind of a gold digger now and then but when she wants to be treated a little rough she is so much fun not to keep

worse comes to worse and i do get laid off and cant possibly find another job the bank will have to track me down and repo her before they get her

They should have age disclosure in this thread. I bet that would shed alot of light on the answers.

I sold mine and now max out mine and my wifes 401k to take advantage of the depressed market. It's actually easier than I thought! I knew how much time I spent reading, buying parts, etc on various forums, but then again I didn't! It feels great knowing I'm shucking away 31k/yr in retirement and I'm not worried about washing, waxing, the next mod, etc etc.

With the parts I sold I bought my daughter a used Xb she's happy!!

Now, with the rest, I've added to the trading fund and am Z06 shopping. Buying the Z06 will start this trend again, but insurance will be $90/mo cheaper.

I almost did because my dad's been off work since October with re-occurring back injury from work, and to this day still hasn't received worker's comp. So, I plan on selling the car if I have to, to help pay bills, since I'm sure that $500/mo could help them a lot. He had a court hearing yesterday and said things are looking good since his employer didn't have any good rebuttal, but we'll see. I love my car more than anything, which is why I'm 24 and live at home, and pay for an EVO while in school, but I think it'd be a good life experience for me to give up my most prized posession to help take care of my family.

So it's not totally related to the economy, but if the economy wasn't so bad, his employer probably wouldn't be so cold hearted at compensating my dad who literally can no longer due anything because he's given everything to that ****ty job for the last 30 years.

i've never thought about selling my car but i am worried about not having a job....and if someone did try to sell there car due to the economy....your gonna have to sell it dirt cheap for someone to spill out the money during this resession

dang this has crossed my mind several times. Since my evo is not my daily driver its hard to come up with reasons to keep it. Basically working full time just to pay for it. It's been rough this year with me going to school full time and having to work full time. I think my best option is to sell it and move on. Maybe get another one when i graduate college next year.

No way I'd sell it no matter what right now.

Look at the the value. Since the economy is suffering, the evo has hit rock bottom - and I mean bad! At first I thought it was just the evo, but it's not. Look at the values of other cars that would normally bring more money.

Supras, M3s, Evos, etc. Everything has fell in value. The best bet would be to tough it out and wait for the economy to bounce back.

Like others have said, I would make other sacrifices if it came down to it. No way I am getting rid of the Evo anytime soon.
