and i dont know where u got the crazy idea that bmws build quality is not that good...its just as good as a lexus. yeah lexus is reliable...probly a little mroe so than a bmw but both will lost for an extremely long time. i see quite a few e30 bmws still around...pretty impressive for a bmw! afterall their build quality is no good according to u!

 

Go take a look at a J.D. Power survey. Lexus is always on or near the top for many different categories. IMO the only thing BMWs have on Lexus is performance (which is quite important to me).

 

bmw has much better luxury than lexus as well. bmw uses much better leather and just take a look at the options you can add on to a bmw. lexus doesnt have half of them or added them after bmw or mercedes did. face it lexus has been playing catch up with bmw and mercedes for a long time now. sure they are good but its still nto quite up to bmw and mercedes level.

 

Hmmm what would I rather drive a slow, bubbly looking GS300 or a tight ***, luxury, and quicker vehicle such as the BMW 5-series.

Especially the IS300 is a joke in my book, what? you(Lexus IS drivers) want to look like a fixed up accord with altezzas? You can barely beat the damn Honda!

If I had the funds I'd take either the M3, M5, 540i anyday without needing any other car.

Their leather sucks. They all feel artificial, real leather or those leatherette (WTF).

Just because they have more options doesn't mean they're better. Acura TLs' only option is a NAV system. You call TLs the best cars in the world? What you're saying proves you're the biggest ***** in the world, not knowing the auto industry in today's standards. Lexus catching up is something in the past. Now BMW and Mercedes are trying to catch up to Lexus in terms of luxury and quality. All they can do now is to add more gadgets to try to look better.

Until you can afford a BMW and actually go test drive, you'll never understand. If you want to live in the past, that's fine with me. Probably the only place that you belong.

Yes IS300 is a joke. They made the lights too easy to imitate so ricers like you can put them on your car. What a shame.

Until you have funds, you'll always be talking about someone else's car. Good for you. Everyone can dream but only a few are stupid enough to comment about things that others dont' care about.

My car's interior luxury is much better than the 530 I looked at. And performance wise 5 series dont' compare with Japanese sports cars. That's why I'm getting an EVO for performance. But I guess you won't understand.

 

oh god you truly are an idiot...hey guess what...lexus has leatherette too...and btw i know many lexus owners who admit that bmw has better leather and other luxury amenities as well... and the point about the options is that bmw comes up with many innovative options such as the automated rear sunshade which lexus btw bited off of bmw and now added to their cars as well. you are truly in a delusioned world if you think bmw is playing catch up to lexus...and you think bmw is only good in handling? last time i check that boat you call a gs300 is slow as **** and nearly every bmw is faster than it.
